Christopher is the Lead Counsel at Penerley. He specialises in various areas of law with an emphasis on corporate, contracts, real estate and regulatory compliance. Chris practises as a Solicitor in England & Wales and as a New York Attorney. He has an international practice with clients from various regions of the world. He is currently acting for an international corporation in negotiating multi-million dollar commercial transactions that involve several well-known organisations and manufacturers in Europe and Asia.
Chris has deep legal knowledge combined with the tenacity and drive to get results for his clients. Indeed, he has experience advising at all levels, from small matters to complex legal issues. He has keen business acumen and works with both private and public clients from diverse industries and sectors. Some of his clients include manufacturers, distributors, tech companies, financial institutions, and property companies. He has also recently advised a governmental department in East Africa.
Chris previously worked at several top firms in the City of London. He was later appointed the Legal and Policy Adviser to the Chairman of the Bar Standards Board (BSB) who was also the former British High Commissioner to Canada. While at the BSB Chris worked alongside the Chairman in the development of regulatory policies for the regulation of barristers in England and Wales.
Chris is highly regarded and has been commended for his legal expertise, attention to detail, and quick turnaround.
