Single Will
Simple Will: From £350
Suitable for straightforward estates with no significant tax planning requirements.
Complex Will: From £750
Includes provisions for inheritance tax planning, trusts, or foreign assets.
Mirror Wills (for couples)
Simple Mirror Wills: From £600
Ideal for couples with straightforward estates.
Complex Mirror Wills: From £1,200
Includes detailed tax planning, discretionary trusts, or cross-border assets.
Additional Services
Letter of Wishes: From £200
Codicil (Amendments to Existing Wills): From £250
PROBATE
Grant of Probate Only (Where the estate is straightforward and uncontested)
Fixed Fee: From £2,000
Includes preparing the application for the Grant of Probate or Letters of Administration.
Full Estate Administration
Simple Estates: From £5,000
Estates with a small number of beneficiaries, no inheritance tax liability, and assets in the UK.
Complex Estates: From £10,000
Includes estates with multiple beneficiaries, inheritance tax liability, business or agricultural assets, or foreign assets.
Hourly Rates
For probate matters charged on an hourly basis:
Partner: £350/hour
Senior Associate: £300/hour
Associate: £250/hour
Paralegal: £200/hour
Disbursements
Disbursements are additional costs payable to third parties, such as:
Probate Court Fee: £300 (estate valued at £5,000 or more).
Oath/Swearing Fee: £5 per executor.
Office Copies of the Grant: £1.50 per copy.
Land Registry Fees: Variable depending on the property value.
